Known for his warm energy and collaborative spirit, Tommie ensures every client feels seen, heard, and celebrated. He leads with empathy and precision, bringing thoughtful intention to every detail. Outside of work, you’ll find him dancing, laughing with friends, or exploring Chicago’s creative scene with his partner.

VENUE MANAGER

Meet Catie Washburn, Venue Manager at The Crawford. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming environment and bringing each event to life with care and attention to detail. Catie holds two degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Communication and Recreation, Sport, and Tourism, giving her a strong foundation in interpersonal communication and event planning. Her experience includes working at a college performing arts center, coordinating corporate events, and completing a wedding industry internship. She brings strengths in coordination, communication, problem-solving, and adaptability to every event she manages. Outside of work, Catie enjoys attending concerts, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Stewie.

She studied Sociology at Wheaton College in Illinois and brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to every event she leads. With experience planning everything from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations like the Chinese Lunar New Year, Sarah has a special love for weddings and their deeply personal nature. She’s passionate about designing spaces that feel classic, beautiful, and effortlessly comfortable. Both a visionary and a doer, Sarah shines when bringing big ideas to life. Her goal is to create environments where people feel truly seen, supported, and free to be themselves.
